HomeJust over 3000 kilometers ago I had the Motorsport Logic Flash tune installed into my MY06 Subaru Impreza WRX and within the first kilometer I knew I was onto a good thing. The standard WRX is a good car in every way but compared to some of my previous vehicles it felt as though it lacked a little of that oomph a good turbo car should have. After driving out of the workshop with the 'flash tune' installed It felt like the car had found its mojo, putting your foot down on the accelarator now pushes you back into your seat in every gear including fifth gear. I picked up 16 killowatts of peak power but the real magic happens around the 3500 rpm mark where I now have an extra 35 killowatts and a mountain more torque to play with. As an added bonus my fuel economy has improved by over 10% and that is something that is always welcome. Chris Gentle Just a quick note to say thanks for all your help with my 02-WRX. The ECU Editor tune is remarkably better than the piggy back computer that was fitted to my car. This product has made a huge difference in performance and fixed all the troublesome engine check light issues I've been having that Subaru couldn't even fix because of the cut up wiring. Many thanks, John Hatsas Thanks again for your prompt service and valuable advice in regards to tuning my 2006 STI, Admittedly I almost went elsewhere to save travelling time and some cost, but when I walked into Advanced Performance Centre in Brisbane the first thing I noticed was a massive display of Dyno sheets. I remember a couple of them displaying over 900hp at the wheels it then I realised I've come to the right place and happily handed over my keys. The professionalism I received from you're outfit is second to none and the extra 34Kw's form just remapping the STI's computer is unbelievable. The car behaves as it should with truck load of acceleration the boys in Harvey Bay will be impressed. Keep up the good work and be sure to thank all the staff. The lunch control works awesome! however the clutch has had better days, like you told me anything over 200KW's would need a better clutch. I'll book it in couple of weeks. I mite be temped to tune it Shell 100 and give another go down the ¼. Troy I'd like to thank you for the great advice and service I have received from APC in relation to my Evolution IX. My car has been transformed in many ways! 1st I had the exhaust done in April 2006 which made the car not only sound like it should have from factory but accelerate faster! You could feel the engine making more power all the way the rev limit it's awesome! Secondly you convinced me to have the vehicles engine management system recalibrated and tuned on 98 fuel. The difference is truly amazing however the dyno graph doesn't tell the whole story. The engines part throttle response and low to mid range torque has greatly increased, there's enormous increases in power and the fuel economy hasn't suffered. Clint |
